Why licensed security guards need to use Numze

 In Blog

If you are a licensed security guard in Canada or the United States, then you will want to get your hands on a new app that just hit the market.

Called Numze, this new app lets you work how you want, when you want. That’s right – this new technology is a game-changer for the security guard industry as it allows organizations and individuals to book licensed security guards in their area, and permits freelance guards to pick work that suits their schedules.

Now available on Google Play and the App Store, the app is so easy to use, and it will help you secure work.

How do you use the Numze App?

All you need to do is download the app on your mobile device, and the rest is a breeze.

Users will have the option to login through Facebook or Gmail. The other option is to manually create an account where you will provide necessary details: first and last name, email address, phone, and password. Once you are done this, you just click on the “I agree to the Terms & Conditions Policy,” and you are good to go!

Next, users will receive an Account Verification, which will allow them to confirm their mobile number and email account. Numze has taken this step in order to stop fake registrations and spam to users’ email accounts.

Once your account is set-up, then you will simply input pertinent information required by Numze: name, date of birth, address, country, phone, driver’s license, guard license, Sin or Social Security Number, certificates of completion, dates of expiry for courses, and uniform sizes. Then you will also need to indicate your hair colour, eye colour, height, weight, languages, references, enhanced reliability check authorization, and vulnerable sectors check authorization.

Numze will also want to know your experience in the security guard industry, and a menu box will let you check-off your skills: use of force, first aid, CPR/AED, legal authorities, and weapons defense, to name a handful. You will also have the choice to select your area of work-interest: residential, commercial, special events, and more.

Once you pass Numze’s “on-board security screening” process, then you will can start “accepting” or “declining” work in your area. Keep in mind that if you are a “no-show” for your shift, then you will be banned from using the app, so make sure you follow through on your commitments!

You will also be contacted by the organization or individual who booked you and the other guards near the start of a shift to ensure that you are on the way. This is an amazing feature as this is the first app that offers two-way communication between the clients and the guards!

Each guard has the option to get paid at the end of each shift, or weekly, or biweekly.

Does it matter if I have a full-time job or part-time job with another security company?

No! You can be employed elsewhere. We do encourage people not to work too many hours, but we will let you be the judge of that.

Numze is a unique app: it provides freedom and flexibility for licensed security guards like they’ve never had before. You can work one shift, three shifts, five shifts, or as many shifts as you like!

What’s also really cool with Numze is that you actually have the potential to earn more than you would with traditional security guard companies.

The app is a win-win for clients and guards!
